Getting a survey or a prepurchase report is the most important step when purchasing goods from overseas such as 2nd hand boats, yachts, cars, caravans and motorhomes. It confirms the condition of the goods so you know what you are getting but they are also important for insurance. It can be difficult to get an insurance claim processed if there is not a detailed prepurchase report.
